As part of the Winter relief, Ramakrishna Math, Ooty is distributing Blankets to poor and destitute people. This year the Blanket distribution was started on November and in the first part of distribution a total number of 145 blankets were distributed to the poor, destitute and needy people. 55 blankets were distributed to the inmates of Abdul Kalam Green Trust where the poor and destitute beggars are lodged. 90 poor people from in and around the math were also distributed with the blankets. The total cost of the 145 blankets is Rs 46835.
