By the blessings of Sri Ramakrishna, Kalpataru day was celebrated with Spiritual fervour in Ramakrishna Math Ooty on January 1 2021 at the Ramakrishna Math premises in the Afternoon.
Amid the muted celebrations with covid restrictions, devotees started visiting the Math from the morning. Additional arrangements were made in the auditorium to telecast the program from the temple through a screen, so that more people can be accommodated.
The Kalpataru day Programme started at 2.30 PM with Bhajans by local devotees, which was continued with Meditation and Sri Ramakrishna Archanai. Swami Divyanamananda gave a speech on the importance of Kalpataru day and explained about its significance and the story behind it.
After the Speech, Arati was conducted and finally the programme ended with the devotees given sumptuous Prasad. Around 250 devotees participated in the function.
